He dominated with a 5-0 mark, a 1.37 ERA and 0.73 WHIP in 6 starts. The gifted Hitmen star pitched 46.0 innings, fanned 41 to only 7 walks and held opposing teams to a .165 average.
For his outstanding performance on the mound Bamber was named April's NL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. It is the 3rd time in his career that he has won the Pitcher of the Month Award. Back during his BSA record, 25 win season in 2012 he won it twice, June and August.

"Winning these kind of individual awards is nice, because it means the team is winning and I had a part in that." Bamber told the media while in Orlando for their 3-game series. "My job is simple. I go out every 5th day and try my best to put my team in a position to win. Lately I've been in a zone and I contribute that to my off-season workouts with Scott (Hill). Obviously he couldn't throw, but he worked with me 3-5 days a week on my mechanics. So far it's paid off."
Bamber followed up his dominate April with a complete game shutout vs the "other" league's best record team the Pittsburgh Swag. Oh how quickly it can change....in his last 2 starts (New Orleans Looters and San Francisco Liberals) he has allowed more runs (8) than he did in his first 7 starts (7). He's also given up 19 hits in those 2 starts, 8 less than he did in 6 starts in April.
