H'ville, Tn - Breaking news inside the VBL6 community today as it was leaked by someone that the former Owner/GM of the Orlando Calrissian's James T. Paterson has regained control of the franchise.
"We are very excited to have Paterson back in our division," commented Hays today upon hearing the news. "He is a great owner, very smart and we love his positive outlook and eternal hope despite the constant ass kicking he gets from my team he still thinks he has a shot."
Paterson abruptly left VBL6 last season with nothing more than a see ya later. Many speculated that Paterson left after a crushing realization that he couldn't hack it in the Ford Division with Hays. After an amazing June and July last season Orlando closed the gap on H'ville to 2.0 games, but then collapsed down the stretch trying to compete with the "Evil Empire". The EPIC collapse is one of the many rumors why Paterson left so quickly and quitely.
Another more Heroic rumor is Paterson was called off to active duty to be involved in a covert operation to bring down a known world terrorist leader. Good story, Yes! Likely, NO!
A third and more likely reason was that Paterson was caught by the Commissioner in some "illegal" activities involving PED's. Much like NBA legend Michael Jordan's "retirement" the sudden disappearance of JTP was strange to say the least. Some whispers started to float around that Paterson was covering up known HGH use by "Mr. Glass", Mel Fields him self. Super Star CF Germán Rivas' name was thrown out there, but no connection was ever made with him.
A "suggested" leave by the Commish for 6 months fits nicely, but at the time of this release the VBL6 League Offices could not be reached and a "No Comment" was released from the Orlando camp.
Either way it is nice to have JTP back!
....oh yea, one more thing, EAT IT PATERSON!!!!
